Village of Lions Bay Council
Adam Solheim
Lions Bay Forever - the village we love, moving forward together
I've lived in Lions Bay for seven years. I'm running for council because this community deserves clear, honest communication. As an engineer, I've spent my career solving problems by weighing facts, not assumptions and I believe that same pragmatic, adaptive approach belongs at the council table, alongside real follow-through and a village where council, committees, and residents pull in the same direction. I'm a traditionalist who believes in collaboration, that Lions Bay can adapt and grow without losing what makes it a village and not just a place people live, the way neighbours actually know each other, the sense that we're in this together. That's worth protecting as much as it's worth improving.
I'm running because I want to help and I believe my skillset and experience can be a real asset to the village. I bring a measured, composed approach: someone who listens first, then acts. My instinct is to look at the facts, but just as importantly, to understand what matters most to this community and let both guide the decisions I make. I want to bring that same steady approach to council: open to change, rooted in tradition, and always willing to hear people out and align with what this community believes in.
